Care Instructions

Spot Cleaning

For small stains or spills, we recommend spot cleaning only. Gently dab the affected area with a damp cloth and avoid rubbing or soaking the wool.

Hand Washing

If a more thorough cleaning is needed, this product can be gently hand washed at a maximum temperature of 30°C. When rinsing, gradually lower the water temperature to help prevent the wool from shrinking or deforming.

After washing, gently squeeze out excess water without wringing or twisting. Dry flat and horizontally to help maintain the footmuff’s shape and prevent stretching.

We recommend using a wool-specific detergent or lanolin-based care product. Lanolin is especially gentle on natural sheep’s wool and helps preserve its softness and natural properties.

Machine Washing

We do not recommend washing this product in a washing machine, as agitation and temperature changes may cause the wool to shrink, felt or lose its shape.

Everyday Care

We recommend regularly airing the footmuff outdoors in fresh air, while avoiding direct sunlight and strong heat. Wool is naturally breathable and antibacterial, helping regulate moisture and keep the footmuff fresh between uses.

Do not tumble dry or iron.
